The company Sonovia Tech has developed an Revolutionary Facemask Technology, proven to
eliminate 99% of COVID-19 particles. Using technology developed by Bar-Ilan University,
SonoMask utilizes a process called cavitation, which involves using specialized machinery
to emit sound waves that infuse proprietary chemical formulations into the

woven fibers of textiles. With that, Sonovia positioned itself at the forefront
of the fight to stop the pandemic. Sonovia’s metal-oxide infused masks have
a particle filtration above 98% of 5 microns and will last over 1 year.

The main route of infection is through infective aerosol droplets against which
the SonoMask is an effective barrier. For added protection, metal oxide
nanoparticles also deactivate viral units on contact.

Furthermore, another added benefit is that these face masks are reusable

. Even though it is clear that people need to wear a face mask during the pandemic,
there have been concerns that people using disposable face masks could lead
to an environmental crisis. Because the Sonovia face masks are reusable,
those who are looking for a sustainable option are also going to be in luck
with this new face mask. The company was founded in 2013 and is based in the
Tel Aviv suburb of Ramat Gan. Sonovia has raised
$4.15 million to date, according to the company’s statement.

The anti-Bacterial Fabric Startup Sonovia Receives last year  2.4 Million
Euros EU Grant, (the European Union’s research and innovation program, Horizon 2020)
as Sonovia develops sonochemical coating for fabrics to make them anti-bacterial and odorless.

Italian Foreign Minister, Luigi de Mayo, reveled during his visit to Israel last

Thursday the business partnership agreement that was signed between "Adler",
a giant producer of components for the automotive industry

with a yearly turnover of 1.5 billion euros, and "Sonovia Ltd."

As part of the agreement, Sonovia is developing for Adler anti-viral / anti-bacterial
textiles for the automotive industry. Upon successful completion of the development,
Sonovia's technology will be assimilated into Adler's production lines in Europe.
The partnership is an initiative of AdlerInlight CEO, Roberta Anati, which has identified
the technological and commercial synergies between the two companies.

The SonoMask maintains its protective properties through more than 55
industrial wash cycles, eliminating the need to frequently replace masks
or filters and making it a far greener solution than traditional disposable PPE,
which also pollute the environment

During the ceremony, Sonovia provided participants with our SonoMask,

which carry the Israeli and Italian flags. As the global COVID-19 situation continues
to disrupt our way of life, claiming the lives of over 1.2M victims,
world leaders continue to struggle to contain the spread of the virus. The rapid
increase in daily infections in the past month have reached an all time high across
all continents,  leaving no choice other than impose a second lock-down. During the
last week alone, this measure has been executed by the governments
of the UK, France, and Germany. In the United States, as conditions worsened
and winter approached, the same tendency can be seen. As of November 2nd more
than 9,376,000 people in the United States have been infected with the coronavirus
and at least 231,400 have died, according to a New York Times database.
The case numbers have reached alarming new records in recent days as outbreaks
continue to grow across the country. During the past week alone there has been an
average of 85,563 cases per day, an increase of
44 percent from the average two weeks earlier.
